The Cochrane Mountainview Home is the only one of our furnished rentals in Cochrane, Alberta. Here's what it has:
- Three bedrooms, sleeping six
- Mountain views and city views
- Air conditioning
- A garage
- Furnished and professionally cleaned between stays
The listing shows the bed layout, the full amenity list, photos, house rules and the cancellation policy. For a group of six, how the beds are split across the rooms matters, so read it before you book.
It suits a family, or two or three couples travelling together, who want a base northwest of Calgary with the mountains in view.
Why stay in Cochrane
Cochrane is a town northwest of Calgary, where Highway 1A meets Highway 22, on the Bow River. Its historic downtown runs along First Street, the Cochrane Ranche Historic Site is in town, and Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park is nearby.
It sits on the mountain side of Calgary, so it's a good base if your plans lean toward Banff and Kananaskis rather than the city. Road distances depend on where in the parks you're headed, so check the route on a map.
If the Cochrane home is booked
Because we have only one home here, we list our closest Calgary homes below it. They're in northwest and west Calgary, including Glacier Ridge and Sage Hill, about 16 to 23 km from Cochrane in a straight line. The drive is longer than a straight line, so check the route on a map. If you're a bigger group, Glacier Ridge has two of our group homes, sleeping 10 and 16.

Booking and house rules
When you book on premierstays.ca, you book on our own site and deal with our team directly:
- Prices. The prices on our search cards include cleaning and fees; taxes are added at checkout. Each listing itemizes every fee before you pay.
- Instant or request. Some homes book instantly. Others are request to book, so the host approves your stay first.
- When you're charged. Depending on the home's cancellation policy, your card may be held and charged closer to check-in. Every listing shows its cancellation policy.
- ID and deposits. Some homes use ID verification or a security deposit, handled through Truvi.
House rules are simple: no parties or events. Small, quiet gatherings are welcome when everyone stays within the home's guest limit and quiet hours, both set on the listing.
Taxes
As of October 2026, a short stay in Alberta carries the Alberta tourism levy, which is 6% for accommodation booked after March 31, 2026 and is charged on the price including cleaning and service fees. GST of 5% applies to short-term accommodation, meaning a stay of less than a month. Longer stays can be different: the levy doesn't apply when the same person stays continuously for 28 days or more (Tourism Levy Act), and a residential rental where the same person stays continuously for a month or more is exempt from GST (Excise Tax Act, Schedule V). Rules can change, so check the sources. Your quote at checkout shows exactly which taxes apply.

Frequently asked questions
How many vacation rentals do you have in Cochrane?
One, as of October 2026: the Cochrane Mountainview Home, a three-bedroom in the Heritage Hills area that sleeps six. If it's booked or too small for your group, our closest other homes are in northwest and west Calgary, about 16 to 23 km away in a straight line. They're listed on this page below the Cochrane home, and you can see the rest on furnished short-term rentals in Calgary.
Does the Cochrane rental have mountain views?
Yes. The Cochrane Mountainview Home is listed with both mountain views and city views. Views depend on the room and the window, so look through the listing's photos to see what you'll see from inside. The home also has air conditioning and a garage. Pick your dates on the listing to check availability and the price.
Is there parking at the Cochrane home?
Yes, the Cochrane Mountainview Home has a garage. Check the listing's description and photos for how the garage and any other parking work, especially if you're bringing more than one vehicle. If you have a question the listing doesn't answer, contact us before you book.
Is Cochrane a good base for Banff and Kananaskis?
Cochrane is a town northwest of Calgary, where Highway 1A meets Highway 22, so staying here puts you on the mountain side of Calgary. How long the trip takes depends on where in the parks you're going, so check the route on a map. If you'd rather stay in the city, our homes in west Calgary put you on the right side of town for the Trans-Canada Highway to Banff; see our Calgary homes.
Can I book the Cochrane home for a month?
Ask us. Contact us with your dates, and see our monthly stays page for every home with a monthly rate. On a home with a monthly rate, a stay of 28 nights or more is booked by request: we confirm availability and the price for each calendar month before you pay, and a security deposit and ID verification are conditions. Long stays can be exempt from the tourism levy or GST. Your quote at checkout shows exactly which taxes apply.
