Which home suits your pet?
Think about where your pet will spend its time. A dog that needs to run will be happier with outdoor space, so start with the two homes that have a yard. A cat or a small dog that's used to an apartment may settle well in a one-bedroom. If you're not sure, tell us about your pet and we'll tell you what we know about each home.
How to bring your pet
- Pick a home and read its pet rules. Each listing shows its own rules and any pet fee.
- Ask before you book. Contact us or email hello@premierstays.ca with the home, your dates and your pet: the type of animal, its size and how many you're bringing.
- Wait for our answer. Book once we've confirmed your pet for that home.
- Book as usual. Every fee is shown before you pay, and taxes are added at checkout.
Don't book first and ask later: the answer for that home may be no.
Tips for a stay with a pet
- Pack for the whole stay. Food, bowls, a leash, waste bags and any medication your pet needs.
- Put your phone number on your pet's tag. A new place means new smells and an unfamiliar door, and a pet that slips out is easier to get back with a tag.
- Bring your own bedding for your pet. A familiar bed or blanket helps a dog or cat settle, and it keeps hair off the home's furniture.
- Keep pets off beds and sofas if the listing asks. Some homes allow pets in the house but not on the furniture.
- Pick up after your dog, in the yard as well as on walks. Bag it and put it in the outdoor bin.
- Check the gate before you let your dog out, even in the fenced yard.
- Don't leave your pet alone in the home if the listing says not to. If it does allow it, a crate can stop a nervous dog from chewing or scratching.
- Wipe paws after walks, especially in winter and after rain.
- Tell us early if something gets damaged. It's easier to sort out during your stay than after you've left.
House rules still apply
Parties and events are never allowed, and each listing sets its own occupancy limit and quiet hours. A barking dog left alone can disturb the neighbours, so plan your days with that in mind.

Frequently asked questions
Which Calgary rentals allow dogs?
The homes on this page are marked "pets allowed on request". That means you ask before you book: tell us the home, your dates and about your dog, and book once we've confirmed. Each listing shows its own pet rules and any pet fee. You can also contact us if you're not sure which home suits your dog.
Is there a pet fee?
It depends on the home. Each listing shows its own pet rules and any pet fee, so read it before you ask about your pet. When you book, every fee is shown before you pay, and taxes are added at checkout.
Do any of the pet-friendly homes have a fenced yard?
Yes. As of October 2026, Riverbend Pet-Friendly Den has a fenced yard, and Alura Sky Panorama has a garden or backyard. Look at each listing's photos and description to see the space, and check the gate is closed before you let your dog out on its own.
Can I bring my cat to a pet-friendly rental?
Ask us first. Pets are allowed on request at these homes, so tell us what kind of pet you have, its size and how many you're bringing, and we'll confirm before you book. Each listing shows its own pet rules and any pet fee. Email hello@premierstays.ca or call (587) 400-0720.
Can I bring a pet on a monthly stay in Calgary?
Only at a home that allows pets, and only once we've confirmed your pet. Mention your pet when you request a monthly stay, and our team will tell you whether it's a fit. See monthly furnished rentals in Calgary for how monthly requests work.
